Arsenal have been charged by the English Football Association (FA) for failing to control their players during Wednesday’s 3-1 Premier League defeat against Leicester City.
The incident occurred in the 75th minute of the game, when Leicester were awarded a penalty following a foul on Demarai Gray and Arsenal’s players surrounded referee Graham Scott to protest against the decision.
According to BBC Sport, Arsenal were charged with “failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion”.
Jamie Vardy converted the penalty to make it 2-1 before Riyad Mahrez made it 3-1 with a superb solo effort.
Arsenal have until 5pm on Wednesday to respond to the charge.
