Katsina United head coach, Abdullahi Biffo, has blamed lack of concentration for his side’s 3-1 defeat against Kano Pillars in their Nigeria Professional Football League match day 21 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Changi Boys put a spirited display in the encounter but were unable to match the effort of their opponents who got their goals through Junior Lokosa (brace) and Nwiya Nwagua.
“It was a good and classy game. My boys gave their best, but could not maintain composure and lost concentration during the course of the match,” Biffo told the Katsina United’s official website.
“We have accepted the defeat in good faith.
“We will now go back home and work on the lapses we have observed.
“Hopefully, we will get it right in our next game.”
Katsina United have now dropped to fifth in the league table with 30 points and Pillars shot to second on the table with 35 points from 21 games.
